Trump Wins 2024 Election, Speaks at Election Night Party in Florida

Former President Donald Trump won the 2024 presidential election on Tuesday, defeating Democratic Party challenger Kamala Harris and becoming just the second former President to be subsequently elected to a second, non-consecutive term.

Trump’s win came following victories in key battleground states of Pennsylvania, Wisconsin, North Carolina and Georgia, whose Electoral College votes, combined with those from reliably Republican-leaning states, pushed him past the requisite 270 Electoral College votes needed to secure the presidency. Other battleground states of Michigan, Arizona, and Nevada all had Trump leading at the time of the race’s calling early Wednesday morning.

Trump spoke at an election night party in West Palm Beach, Florida following his victory, giving remarks shortly after 2 am EST on Wednesday, November 6th. Family members, friends and campaign staff joined Trump on stage, with Vice President-elect JD Vance, senior advisor to the campaign Chris LaCivita, and UFC CEO Dana White all giving brief remarks at the event.
