Pete Buttigieg Speaks at Canvass Launch in Sterling Heights, Michigan

Secretary of Transportation Pete Buttigieg spoke at a canvass launch on Thursday morning at a Democratic Party field office in Sterling Heights, Michigan. The event also featured remarks from Christina Hines, candidate for Macomb County Prosecutor, Michigan State Representative Nate Shannon, Macomb County Democratic Committee Chair Alysa Diebolt, U.S. House Rep. Annie Kuster of New Hampshire’s 2nd congressional district, and Carl Marlinga, who is running against Rep. John James in Michigan’s 10th congressional district.

Buttigieg, originally from Indiana but now a Michigan resident, spoke in his personal capacity at the event. Watch video of Buttigieg’s remarks here:
