CPAC 2025 - Trump, Musk, and Conservatives Gather in National Harbor for Annual Conference

In the latest iteration of the Conservative Political Action Conference (CPAC), thousands gathered at the Gaylord National Resort & Convention Center this past week for the annual event, which boasts conservative activists, influencers and politicians as speakers.

Held once again in National Harbor, Maryland, just outside of DC, this year’s speaker lineup included President Trump (in his first CPAC appearance since retaking office in January), Elon Musk, Argentine President Javier Milei, Reform UK Leader Nigel Farage, several Cabinet members, and other high-ranking officials and conservative influencers. The event boasted a theme of “America is back on track”, a nod to conservative delight in Trump’s return to office this year.

Several individuals formerly incarcerated following January 6th-related convictions were also present, now either pardoned or having had their sentences commuted by Trump shortly after his retaking office. Among those were Oath Keepers founder Stewart Rhodes, Proud Boys member Joe Biggs, and former Proud Boys leader Enrique Tarrio, who was arrested following a separately-organized press conference in nearby DC on Friday (Tarrio was subsequently released Friday afternoon and was present at CPAC on Saturday).
